Appco Group Support chosen to be sponsors of IFC

With fundraising as the integral part of Appco Group Support, the charity division of Appco Group, the group had agreed to be one of the sponsors for the 30th International Fundraising Congress (IFC).

IFC is the world’s leading conference on fundraising and was established in 1981. Renowned for its learning and networking opportunities, the event regularly attracts around 900 participants from over 55 countries.

Agreeing to support the IFC financially, Martin Gaffney, Appco Group Support’s Managing Director, is hosting Appco's international charity partners at the event to discuss the ways charities can benefit from direct marketing.

“Appco Group Support is the largest face-to-face donor recruitment agency in the world we understand the need for fundraising skills in the Charity Division,” Martin Gaffney said. “Therefore we are extremely proud to be associated with the prestigious IFC, who provide visionary leadership in the field of charitable training, education and dialog.”

Appco Group Directors meet up for strategic decision making

Appco Group, the world’s leading direct marketing company has ambitious plans to expand its operations into more new countries. The Appco Board of Directors and Senior Executives from across the Group used the setting of the Appco R&R, held at the luxurious Hilton Vilamoura resort in Portugal, to discuss potential new locations.

Appco currently has a presence in 25 countries, with country launches in Brazil, America and Russian this year alone, the company has no intention of slowing down its operations.

Appco Managing Director Mike Blane commented - “The world is changing, we have grown from being in one country, Australia, 23 years ago, to the massive global reach we now enjoy across 25 countries. If we want to expand into even more new territories going forward then we need to adapt. It is not enough that we are a world-leading direct marketing company- if we want to continue to thrive then we need to maintain standards as we grow.”
